History

Logan Valley is a nine hole course filled with history. The course you see today was originally a land walnut and butternut farm. Scottish greens reside naturally with trees dating back to the 1850’s.

In 1910, it was first used for golf. It shut down and reopened several times until 1952. Wilber Peterson, a furniture store owner in Wakefield, then bought the course for his own use. He allowed others to play for 50 cents a round!
